We are seeking a passionate and professional Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations for the upcoming opening of our fifth Manhattan location. The new location will be a 120 seat full service Italian concept with several revenue centers including a la carte, private dining, delivery, as well as an adjacent QSR concept.
This position will oversee menu planning, food purchasing, and standards for food preparation/presentation. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining food costs and quality of product as well as recruiting, training and supervising a staff of 60+ sous chefs and line cooks.
Casa Nela is driven by our love for hospitality and this position will maintain a positive, hospitality-driven environment that is supportive of growth for all team members. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be organized and self-motivated. Minimum requirement of 5 years in a culinary management position overseeing at least $5million/year in revenue and large management + hourly staff of 50+. Experience overseeing a successful opening is preferred.
