Assistant General Manager wanted!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Working with GM & hotel ownership to maintain open communication and coordination with all staff
-Hiring, training, scheduling FOH and BOH staff
-Food and beverage ordering, inventory, and cost analysis
-Keeping food, liquor and labor costs low
-Overseeing managers at each location to ensure efficient daily operations
-Payroll
-Keeping venue clean and up to health code and overseeing all maintenance needs
-Creating inventory protocols and storage solutions
-Communicating promotions and protocols with all staff as well as perform routine spot checks, pour tests and food quality checks for overall quality control
-Oversee staff training programs for all positions
-Administrative duties
-Expected to work 50-60 hours/week
Ideal candidates have:
-Food and beverage management experience in NYC
-Multi-unit restaurant experience
-Food and beverage knowledge (including costs, forecast, and budgeting)
-Tech savvy (Excel, Toast POS, Foodager)
-Experience with Japanese food and beverage preferred
-Food handlers certificate preferred
