Description
Big Night Entertainment Group is the owners and operators of some of the hottest restaurants, nightclubs and entertainment facilities including Empire, Red Lantern, Gem, Shrine Nightclub, Red Lantern Foxwoods, The Scorpion Bar Tequila Cantina Foxwoods & Foxboro, Guy Fieri's Kitchen & Lounge and High Rollers at Foxwoods. BNEG is currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Scorpion Bar Seaport Boston team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Directs front of house operations
• Maintains patron satisfaction and builds relationships with preferred patrons.
• Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management and hourly staff; Cleary communicates job expectations; enforces policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complies with health and legal regulations;
• Delegates authority, assigns responsibilities and effectively manages subordinates. Takes responsibility for their growth and career path.
• Establishes standards for personnel administration and performance, exceptional service to patrons, food selection and service.
• Partners with General Manager to ensure corporation and communication between FOH and BOH
• Answers patrons' complaints and resolves problems.
• Maintain all necessary license and permits

Required Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
• Exemplary Customer Service Skills
• Exceptional fiscal management skills, including financial analysis,
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
• Ability to work well with people internally and externally at all levels
• Solid planning, organizing and scheduling abilities
• Strong team building skills with emphasis on development and ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal employees and external patrons
• Ability to create enthusiasm, demonstrate innovation and encourage growth and learning in others.
• Work hours necessary to maintain facility
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Micros, Open Table and Hot schedules
• Able to successfully pass a federal and state criminal background check
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Restuarant Manager will supervise a total of approximately 30-40 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
