As a Sushi Roller, a typical day might include the following:
• Creating high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for take-out and
dine-in plate preparation.
• Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Cook and prepare dishes, such as sauces, during rush periods and for private dining and other social functions.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
• Organization and sanitize, kitchen, and storage areas.
• Execute methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in
prescribed manner.
• Able to work in a high volume / fast pace work environment
• Other duties as assigned.
