Description
Ripe is looking for an Executive Chef to lead the Ripe kitchen. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared accordingly.

A great Executive Chef will be a team player, quick and willing to go above and beyond. We are looking for someone able to follow instructions and work with our team as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

Responsibilities Include:

-Arrive at the Ripe kitchen between 3:30 - 4am with the Sous Chef or Prep Chef
-Create and Follow the prep list created alongside the Chief Product Officer
-Prepare all vegetable and grain dishes
-Guide the team to prep and cook dishes
-Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
-Create order sheet and place daily food order
-Tracking kitchen inventory
-Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
-Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
