Packaging Team Member

Role & Responsibilities:
The Packaging Team Member at SoRipe, Inc is responsible for the daily execution and organization of our packed finished goods and fulfilling completed orders. The Packaging Team member will aid in our systematic workflow and be held accountable for keeping a sanitary space and work environment as required by NY State Health Department. You will be required to maintain the inventory of all finished items in production. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Hours & Days:
We are open from Monday - Friday. The work begins around 5AM and ends at 2PM.

You will be joining a team of seasoned, passionate and energetic employees who work quickly and execute on a high level, day after day. The Leadership team at Ripe is focused on your career advancement within Ripe, and is eager to help you develop skills to increase your value as an employee.

Requirements:
1+ years catering experience or relevant work
Basic understanding of professional cooking and kitchen skills
NYS Food Handler Certification
Inventory Management
Receiving/Organizing
Knowledge and understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures

The first 3 months you will be an hourly employee ($16/hr - $20/hr)

We are located on the L.E.S. of Manhattan, close to the Essex Street station. Our cross streets are Clinton St and Rivington St.
