Description

D&D London is a group of diverse restaurants, bars and hotels based principally in London, but also with venues in Paris and New York. It was founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the eponymous D and D) in 2006, following a buyout of Conran Restaurants. Since then the company has become a vital player in London’s famous restaurant scene, owning some of the capital’s most celebrated restaurants, including Quaglino’s, Le Pont de la Tour, Bluebird and Coq d’Argent.

As D&D London’s first hotel, South Place Hotel is quite rightly something special: boutique, luxurious
and fresh faced. Described by Wallpaper magazine as ‘Miami via Moorgate’, the hotel has 80 guest
rooms, Michelin starred Angler restaurant as well as South Place Chop House and five bars. With an
array of meeting and event spaces as well as the stunning Secret Garden and rooftop terrace
overlooking the Capital.


We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. As Marketing Manager you will develop the marketing strategy for the hotel including outreach plans to increase sales and awareness of the brands. You will be focusing on wider revenue generating initiatives that will drive sales, brand awareness and press, which will work in line with restaurant budgets and objectives. We are looking for a candidate who is innovative and used to working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create marketing and press initiatives and campaigns working closely with the PR teams
• Proactive outreach to local businesses, relevant corporates, residents and local markets to develop the businesses core
• Weekly and monthly review and measurement of marketing initiatives calculating potential ROI against budget
• Manage and oversee the hotels’ digital strategy working with the Director of Marketing
• Oversee and review all online aspects of the brands from websites, to 3rd party partners’ listings online and offline
• Implement the marketing plan (event logistics, collateral, online & offline communication)
• Regular updating of D&D marketing calendar and individual restaurant marketing plan for monthly review with support from the marketing coordinators
• Efficient development and maintenance of restaurant websites, ensuring they are up to date at all times and implementing changes to reflect activities / promotions
• Submit monthly content briefs to the content team to produce HTMLs
• Direct any photo shoots and ensuring that there is up to date imagery of the hotel in all marketing information
• Coordinate any promotional menus with the Executive Chef / F&B team

Key Requirements:

• 3 years+ proactive marketing / sales in F&B or retail environment
• Communication and analytical skills combined with creative sensibilities
• Great attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• CRM & CMS experience useful
• Organised with a structured approach
