Description
Our beautiful and contemporary spa within our Canary Wharf Club offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for our customers, but also provides a positive environment to work in.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who can deliver a 5 star service, making the customer journey a great experience; as a Spa Receptionist it’s important to be both welcoming and engaged when liaising and building relationships with customers and also within your direct team to ensure that an encouraging and optimistic culture is sensed throughout the Spa.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, reliable and able to work within our high standards. Don’t be afraid to bring your own unique style with you, nor offer up your ideas on how to make improvements to ensure the Spa is continuously striving to improve.

We are looking for a proficient communicator, with both strong written and verbal skills so that day-to-day tasks of providing informed consultations on Spa offerings to making bookings and appointments appears seamless for the customer. The successful candidate will be able to manage difficult conversations and take care of any negative feedback by proactively addressing this with the customer to ensure a satisfactory outcome is reached.

You will need to be fully conversant with the Spa offerings and able to make informed recommendations and advice clients on aftercare products, with a focus to retain our clients.

As well as being a customer-facing role, you will also be required to roll-up your sleeves and ensure that the Spa reception and displays are always clean and clear throughout the day and that stock is replenished at all times.

Your duties will include:

• Offering a warm meet and greet to all clients
• Taking/ re-arranging bookings
• Forecasting booking issues
• Banking
• Opening/closing the spa
• Managing feedback and complaints in a professional manner
• Taking telephone calls and responding to email enquiries

Skills and attributes required:
• Must be willing to take further training in all products available
• Ability to understand the spa daily figures to hit targets
• Proactive ensure high standards of hygiene within the spa
• Able to attend member evenings or special functions as and when required and help out as requested
• Experience within customer service is essential
