National Beverage Director

Southern Proper Hospitality is an entrepreneurial organization that values a dedication to the guest experience, a passion for growth, and a drive to execute at a high level. Southern Proper provides a "short term escape" for diners by creating unique and distinct dining experiences that appeal to customers' sense of adventure. Each restaurant offers a high energy, fun and entertaining atmosphere coupled with genuinely hospitable service and exceptional, high-quality food.

With 23 restaurants and 1 hotel currently operating under 9 concepts including The Southern Gentleman, Gypsy Kitchen, The Big Ketch, Chido & Padre's, The Blind Pig, Milton's, Street Taco, Beni's, and Tin Lizzy's, as well as some 5 projects planned for the immediate future, this is an exciting time for the company and for those that have helped reach this point. Along with this growth, comes the desire to add quality talent to our teams as we expand into additional regions to help pave the way for the future.

Southern Proper Hospitality is currently accepting resumes for the role of National Beverage Director.

The National Beverage director creates, manages, and measures beverage programs that represent the values of the company, the desires of our guests, and align with our concepts. Some examples of job duties include, but are not limited to:

-Creation of beverage programs : Liquor, Beer, Wine, Non Alcoholic.
-Ensuring programs represent and define our values and location specific needs.
-Developing and execution operational tools.
-Streamlining ordering and costing systems.
-Assisting with training and development of team members.
-Development of the beverage department.
-Assist in restaurant openings from conception, to creation, to execution.
-Assist in bar FSE design and strategy.
-Maintaining LBW menus and programs.
-Ensure programs hit budget and sales goals.
-Take an entrepreneurial level of ownership to the beverage department.
-Conduct R&D related to continued expansion.
-Continuing personal development and beverage education.

The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, a dedicated desire to grow and develop, 3-5 years of full service experience and a strong of both hourly and salaried duties related to the beverage department. They would possess a deep desire for personal and professional growth, with continued self and external education. This position is based in Atlanta, with travel to units both inside and outside the area.
