Time Limited Development Assignment – Area Leader
CAVA can trace its roots back to a single restaurant in Bethesda, Maryland. Today it includes nearly 90 fast-casual Mediterranean restaurants and a line of chef-crafted dips and spreads sold in Whole Foods Markets nationwide. In 2018, CAVA joined with Zoës Kitchen – and together, we’re sharing a passion for bold, craveable meals and exceptional guest experiences with eaters across the country.

The Role:
At CAVA + Zoës Kitchen we are committed to creating opportunities for our team members to grow and further their careers. In a Time Limited Development Assignment (TLDA), you will step into a progressive experience to stretch your capabilities in an elevated or cross-functional role for a specified timeframe. Supported by a collective of team members including a mentor team member to guide you through the duration of the assignment, you will foster new skills, take on new challenges, champion the culture, and learn how to evolve as a better leader.
What You’ll Do:
Execute all the duties and responsibilities associated with your Time Limited Development Assignment
Be receptive to positive and constructive feedback
Be actively engaged in the development of your technical and leadership skills
Be a cultural ambassador and continue to promote our mission and values
The Skills:
Must be a current team member employed for at least 6 months in their current role with CAVA and/or Zoës Kitchen
Must be in good standing and meeting expectations in performance
Must be open to relocatable assignments
Must be exceptional in driving results in your respective area of expertise
Must provide and be actively engaged in a Performance Development Plan (PDP)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service & results oriented
Requires knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn systems
Excellent communications skills with drive, energy and a passion for development of people and the business.
Amplifies culture while engaging and motivating the team.
