Sr. UX/Product Designer:

The Role:

The Digital team is developing the next version of CAVA’s digital platform with an emphasis on customer experience and cutting-edge design.  The Senior Digital Product Manager will define the next generation of guest-centric experiences and features for CAVA’s digital product roadmap, in alignment with enterprise strategic key initiatives. Grow engagement, conversion and retention by enabling.  The team is tasked with setting the standard in restaurant/retail technology innovation and enjoy the challenge. We have a creative and open team that uses modern tools and agile practices to run a lean development lifecycle.  

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Design new features and improvements for the CAVA digital experience
  • Lead customer research to develop new features
  • Convey concepts into interaction flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Work closely with in-house developers in an agile environment to implement and merge front-end enhancements to digital applications
  • Identify areas of improvement and devise elegant solutions for testing
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
  • Partner with the creative team (visual designers and content experts), engineers, restaurant operations, and passionate CAVA customers to bring new digital experience to life


The Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI web experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or comparable field
  • Expertise in Sketch, InVinsion, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and clear communication skills
  • Communicate and provide updates to management
  • Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions
  • Experience with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive web design
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design, testing methodologies, and usability/accessibility concerns
  • Collaborative and excited to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain a stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
