The Role:
The Analyst
uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance
supply chain and distribution processes. Responsible for assembling data,
analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations
which support operations and logistics. The job is to analyze the movement of
goods from the supply pipeline through finished goods distribution, monitoring
current practices, identifying and analyzing gaps and developing process improvements
that will result in increased cash flows and customer satisfaction and
decreased operating costs.
