MONDAY TO FRIDAY LUNCHTIME WORK....
We are Little Gems Country Dining, a small intimate group of five pubs. We pride ourselves on doing the simple things really well and keeping our focus on the staff and guests.
The Swan Inn Denham is in the picture perfect village of Denham – and although we may be modest in size, we’re certainly big on country charm, delicious food and friendly faces. Our delightful dining room and bar area is inviting and cosy, especially with the log fire roaring in those chillier months. For those sunnier, warmer days, our beautiful, large garden and secluded terrace area are pretty much perfect. Enjoy outdoor dining whilst the little ones have a ball. Everything on our menus is freshly made in our kitchen and changes in line with the seasons. We always use the best local produce that we can get our hands on.
Your role:
We are looking for talented, motivated and passionate Front of House team to join our beautiful pub, to deliver an exceptional customer experience and a mouth-watering food offering.
Are you passionate about serving up top notch dishes with a smile? Are you a dab hand behind the bar? Can you pour the perfect drink? Then, why not become a Gem?
Front of House duties include:
- Taking responsibility for the customer journey, ensuring their experience is second to none
- Taking accurate orders and working closely with kitchen staff
- Ensuring payments and receipts are correct
- Confidently recommending menu and drinks offerings
- Observing service and standards and reporting any incidents or issues
- Being a supportive and proactive team member
Your development:
We consistently strive to give individuals the opportunity to use their existing skills and building new ones. We will invest time coaching and developing including one-to-one training, group training and external training. We like to see our people develop and ultimately, as a company, we like to promote from within. If you are looking for a career in hospitality, then we can help you develop into a supervisor.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience working front of house in a hospitality or customer facing environment
- Enthusiasm and passion for food and drink!
- The ability to deliver excellent customer service and great teamwork in a fast-paced pressurised environment
