Job summary
Function: To provide a World Class efficient and professional service in registration and providing information to all guests, colleagues and visitors. Maximise revenue through careful diary management, promoting a wide range of Hotel services, Spa treatments, packages, products and membership. Ensuring the spa is kept clean and well maintained, and fully compliant with legislative requirements. Purpose: Consistently adhering to LQA 5* Standards and departmental standards.

Main Duties and responsibilities:
1 Provide superior world-class service to our colleagues, members & guests at all times. Follow The Spa & Health Club etiquette guidelines.
2 Act in accordance with Departmental Policies and Procedures and standards.
3 Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements is adhered to at all times.
4 Possesses good knowledge of Health & Safety, Fire, Manual Handling and Emergency procedures.
5 To be the consummate professional at all times; immaculate appearance and smile.
6 Display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues. To be sincere about caring for people and get a real joy about making a difference to people's lives.
7 At all opportunities, assists guest directly and indirectly in order to assist in efficient spa & health club operations, resolve problems to provide guests a delightful stay and experience in the hotel.
8 Develop and maintain appropriate and quality relationships with the spa members and guests.
9 Ensure effective liaison between spa receptionists, spa therapists and Interacts with Hotel staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
10 Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all Hotel activities and events.
11 Ensure professional communication over the phone, email and face-to-face.
12 Takes spa reservations for internal and external guests.
13 Welcome Guests and Members, ensuring all requirements are met and carefully assess the guest needs and respond to all guest requests in a courteous manner.
14 Provide a level of service that will exceed all guests’ expectations by completing all task in a consistent thorough manner, and by treating all clients with individual attention.
15 Responsible for maintaining the look, cleanliness and feel of the spa, ensuring guests and members feel relaxed from the time they arrive.
16 Restocks changing room supplies and amenities, maintains an accurate supply list and inventory sheet.
17 Create a Relaxing Atmosphere, ensuring the spa and health club environment to be as relaxing and serene as possible.
18 Consistently deliver World Class service from greeting to guest departure updating guest records, follow-up, gathering information and immediate handling of complaints.
19 Follows set procedures on posting charges, cashing up, safe deposits, and refunds.
20 Ensure all reception administration is completed at the end of each day (guest consultation cards, H&S checklist, pool testing records, stock check, hand-over book for next shift).
21 Monitor status of all facilities and equipment’s and notify the Spa Supervisor if there are any maintenance or repair needs. Promptly recording equipment issues in the book and notifying the spa supervisor and engineering.
22 Participate in on-going training programs.
23 Continually strive to upgrade the quality of Customer Service delivered through practice, role-play and feedback.
24 To be an active participant in weekly Spa Reception Huddle.
25 To be an active participant in Monthly Spa Meetings.
26 Engage in promoting events and promotions to all guests.
27 Responsible for achieving daily sales targets and contributing to monthly spa team target.
28 Regularly review policies and procedures relating to spa and health club, making recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
29 Ensures proper care and maintenance of equipment in the spa and health club.
30 Attends scheduled training and participates in company-initiated employee activities.
31 To be fully aware of and comply with the Hotel’s environmental Policy and established rules and guidelines.
