Job summary
Function: To provide a friendly and professional service promoting a sense of well-being and offering a wide range of treatments in a relaxing atmosphere; Supporting the manager to maximise revenue through careful diary management and proactive selling of spa treatments and retail products. Ensuring the spa is kept clean and well maintained, and fully compliant with legislative requirements. Purpose: Consistently adhering to LQA 5* Standards and departmental standards.

Main Duties and responsibilities:
1 Provide superior world class service to our colleagues, members & guests at all times. Follow The Spa & Health Club etiquette guidelines.
2 Act in accordance with Departmental Policies and Procedures and standards.
3 To be the consummate professional at all times; immaculate appearance, excellent customer service, smile.
4 Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements is adhered to at all times.
5 Possesses good knowledge of Health & Safety, Fire, Manual Handling and Emergency procedures.
6 Ensure effective liaison between spa therapists and spa receptionists.
7 To be sincere about caring for people and get a real joy about making a difference to people's lives. 8 As assigned and at all opportunities, assists guest directly and indirectly in order to resolve problems and provide them a delightful stay and experience in the hotel.
9 Develop and maintain appropriate and quality relationships with the spa members and guests.
10 To carefully assess the guest requirements; Respond to all guest requests in a courteous manner. 11 Deliver treatments such as face & body treatments; body wraps, aromatherapy, body scrubs.
12 Provide a level of service which will exceed all guests’ expectations by completing all treatments in a consistent thorough manner, in the time allocated and by treating all clients with individual attention.
13 Create a Relaxing Atmosphere, ensuring treatment / spa environment to be as relaxing and serene as possible.
14 Consistently deliver world Class service from greeting to concluding treatments, updating guest records, consultations, follow-up, refreshments and immediate handling of complaints.
15 Ensure all therapist administration is completed at the end of each day (guest consultation cards, room checklist, stock replenishing and check updates on the booking system for next shift).
16 Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy according to Health and Safety standards and Spa room check list.
17 Monitor status of all equipment and notify the Spa Supervisor if there are any maintenance or repair needs. Promptly recording equipment issues in the book and notifying the spa supervisor and engineering.
18 Restocking professional products ensuring all treatment rooms are fully stocked at all times.
19 Participate in on-going training programs.
20 Be dedicated to Professional Development by continually expanding range of treatments abilities. 21 Continually strive to upgrade the quality of treatments delivered through practice, trade test and feedback.
22 To be an active participant in weekly Spa Therapists Huddle.
23 To be an active participant in Monthly Spa Meetings.
24 Engage in promoting events and promotions to all guests.
25 Responsible for achieving daily sales targets and contributing to monthly spa team target.
