Founded by childhood best friends, Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, The Meatball Shop opened their first location on The Lower Side in 2010. Over the last six years we have expanded in the NYC market to seven locations.
Our “ballers” are the most important part of The Meatball Shop family, and we are passionate about serving our guests simple, sustainable, and delicious food. We believe in creating a culture that promotes creativity and individuality within our communities. Our shops each have a unique energy & vibe about them, while staying true to our values and beliefs.
• 6 - 9 hr. shifts / 3 shift minimum (varies upon availability and needs of the shop)
• Adhere to all TMS policies.
• Attend taste plate and check line-up notes at the beginning of every shift.
• Maintain open, constructive communication with all staff and management.
• Assists servers in the setup of floor for service.
• Follows daily checklists.
• Takes bus bins to dishwasher.
• Resets tables with clean plates and setups.
• Re-stocks all clean plates, flatware, glasses, and other supplies on floor.
• Cleans and breaks down floor completely at end of night.
• Delivers food/beverages to guest tables and continuously cleans.
• Helps with miscellaneous tasks as requested by manager.
• Must be able to lift 30+ pounds.
