We’re hiring a part time graphic designer!
Why is The Meatball Shop the greatest place to work on earth? Besides the free meatballs? We’re more than a company, we are a family made up employees, guests, vendors and neighbors. We believe in creativity, individuality, and celebrate those strengths in everything we do.
The ideal candidate should have an enthusiastic passion for design and branding with loads of motivation to grow professionally with one of NYC’s rapidly expanding restaurant groups. This is a part time position with the possibility to become full time.
The Meatball Shop has a clear brand guidelines established and we’re looking for an excited graphic designer to carry the torch! You should be able to use what we in place to create new materials and bring new design moments into play.
Job Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Develop a deep understand of The Meatball Shop’s brand aesthetic and voice to design on brand marketing materials
Create marketing materials for both print (postcards, menus, in shop signage, merchandise) & digital (website, social, email blasts) on as needed basis
Keep brand book updated
Skills & Requirements Preferred:
College Bachelor's Degree in Design (will consider some candidates still in school)
Skills in photography a huge plus
Proficient understanding of all major design tools (full adobe suite, basic video editing)
On top of design best practices and technologies
Excellent project management
Other Ideal Qualifications:
Someone who can bring fresh and creative ideas to our marketing department. Help keep us cool!
Highly detailed-oriented and organized.
Problem solver. If you see something that isn’t working you can’t stop until you figure it out!
Have a passion for hospitality and the restaurant industry
