The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food. Job Overview

 

We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our team, ideally from a Foodservice background. You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key Foodservice accounts, seeking opportunities to increase sales and profitability.

 

As a National Account Manager, you should be organised and able to analyse performance metrics. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with customers as well as working collaboratively with internal key stakeholders.

The role will work closely with all functions within the business to ensure the smooth operating performance and achieving the required KPI’s and targets for each customer

 


Account Management Job Responsibilities


·         Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters – As an escalation point in the event of day-to-day issues

·         Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships & internal key stakeholder relationships

·         Negotiate contracts – With the support of Senior Management

·         Delivering solutions according to customer needs and objectives post agreement with internal stakeholders

·         Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement of consolidated customer

·         Forecast and track account performance

·         Prepare reports on account – Internal & External

·         Collaborate with procurement to seek commercial benefits of supply through product mitigation and/or category upsell

·         In Collaboration with Supply Chain work on improving the performance through any possible innovations of the process

·         Accountable for the overall financial performance of accounts – Budget setting and maintenance of performance

·         Support from Head of Foodservice with ongoing training and development

 

 

Requirements & Skills

 

·         Proven work experience as a National Account Manager

·         Solid experience in sales and customer service

·         Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients’ requirements

·         In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics

·         Hands on experience with MS Excel

·         Excellent analytical and organisational skills

·         Strong communication skills

·         Availability to travel as needed
