Our raw bar and sushi selection is renowned as a Midtown favorite, and offered at lunch and dinner.
We are looking for a professional Sushi cook to prepare food to the exact Sushi Chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
• Proven Sushi preparation experience
• Excellent understanding of various Sushi preparation methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Knife skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry best practices
• Positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Clean and organized working habits
• A commitment to learn
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant
• Ability to think quickly on their feet and multi-task with ease
• Ability to speak English fluently and clearly
• Must be available weekends, holidays and holiday periods
