OVERVIEW
Théâtre XIV, home of Company XIV, is hiring part-time bussers for a 175-seat cabaret venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Performances schedule varies (companyxiv.com/tickets). The bar at the venue offers a selection of cocktails, wine, beer and snacks. Company XIV specializes in creating an A-Z experience for our guests, which includes the bar. All bar staff are representatives of the venue, the Company and are an integral part of each performance. Company XIV performs 4-6 performances per week, Thursdays - Sundays. Bussers are expected to work 1-3 shifts per week totaling 6-20 hours per week, depending on performance schedule and availability. All bussers are required to work holidays.

Starting rate: $10.50/hour
Training rate: $15.00/hour
Tips: projected $60-120/shift
Start date: September 6, 2019

ABOUT COMPANY XIV
Company XIV fuses dance, theater, circus, opera, burlesque, and decadent design to create one of a kind theatrical experiences. Founded by Juilliard graduate Austin McCormick in 2006, the company works in the mediums of live dance/theater and film. The work is contemporary, yet inspired by the theatre/dance/opera under the reign of Louis XIV. McCormick seeks to unite design, choreography, and music to create compelling 360-degree experiences for audiences in which they are fully immersed in a theatrical world. RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep storefront sidewalk.
Receive shipments and organize inventory.
Stock restroom supplies and monitor restrooms throughout evening.
Wipe down all tables.
Help maintain a clean bar.
Bus tables and spot sweep throughout the evening.
Clean spills as needed.
Respond to cleanliness issues as they arise.
Wash and polish glassware.
Wash and dry garnish containers.
Bag and assemble trash and recycling.
Count inventory.
Sweep theater at end of shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
Cleanliness is a way of life. You prefer when things are clean and organized.
Self-motivated work ethic, you are a problem solver and you’re good on your feet.
You work well on a team and enjoy supporting your colleagues.
You should have experience helping maintain the cleanliness of a restaurant, bar or theater venue.
Must be able to lift and carry 40-lb boxes repeatedly.
Must be available for evening shifts Thursday - Sunday, and afternoon shifts Saturday & Sunday.
Must be available holidays Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Love of live performance preferred.
