Description
Tupelo Honey is seeking an outgoing, positive, service minded individual to serve as Office Administrator of our support office, The Hive. The Office Administrator is the first point of contact for our office and provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Other responsibilities include answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. This position will be scheduled for 30-40 hours per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, sort and forward incoming mail. Prepare and send packages for via express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc).
• Manage the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies, including business cards from Office Depot online.
• Create and send out weekly contact lists
• Prepare and book conference rooms for meetings, including buying refreshments and cleaning up
• Manage corporate communication including company-wide updates, bulletins, and monthly emails
• Book event spaces and organize catering for off-site events
• Serve as the first point of contact for office visitors and guests who reach out by phone, including resolution of guest complaints
• Manage large printing projects from various departments
• Book travel (hotels, flights, rental cars) through business rewards program, third party sites, or set-up group rates for traveling company members
• Act as a liaison to senior team members, board members, and CEO
• Maintains documents, files and records
• Assist in completing and/or analyzing data and reporting
• Assist in on-boarding new employees, creating IT and personal logins
• Be available for other special HR and Operations projects as needed
• Commit 8 hours per week to support of the Executive team

QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent phone etiquette
• At least 1 year experience as an office administrator
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and confidential information

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma, or GED equivalent

$14.00-$16.00
