Description
Main Duties and responsibilities:
1. To assist the Banqueting Operations Manager to secure and control all bar and liquor stocks issued to the banqueting department and to supervise and control departmental billing and control procedures.
2.To ensure that clients are accurately and honestly charged for the services they receive. And also to ensure that company guidelines are adhered to in relation to par stocks and levels of surplus on beverages.
3. To maintain par stock of Beverage in Banqueting, and to order the correct quantities when needed.
4. To assure the correct drinks are served for each event according to the
function sheet.
5. To attend issue meetings for a preview of Events to come. To ensure that all drinks on sheet are feasible and properly noted and detailed.
6. To ensure that all glassware and other equipment are ready for service.
7. To ensure that the Banqueting Bar Deposit is supervised or locked at all times.
8.To ensure that training in all aspects of Banqueting bar work is carried out and updated continuously.
9. To ensure that staffing levels are maintained in accordance with company guidelines.
10. To ensure that the quality and quantity of casual bar staff is in accordance with company guidelines.
11. To carry out the selection, dismissal and promotion of all Banqueting bar
personnel.
