We are looking for a strong manager with a creative mindset to join our e-commerce team in the UK.
Your main responsibility will be the operational management of our UK E-commerce team and to ensure strategic alignment with the South African e-commerce team.

Reporting to the Head of E-commerce (in South Africa), the E-commerce Manager will oversee the daily management of the Newt online store. You will be responsible for the development, operations and day-to-day management of the E-commerce team in the UK - This includes the management of stock, warehouse, fulfilment, customer-service and overall user-experience.

Working closely with the Newt Retail Manager (on-site) and Marketing Team (in South Africa & the Newt), this is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to help lead the ecommerce team and drive the ecommerce growth in the UK.

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the E-commerce business at the Newt in Somerset
• Managing the team responsible for customer-service, fulfilment and stock-management
• Create a culture of collaboration and agility, with a relentless focus on the customer, data and innovation to deliver and continually optimise brilliant online experience
• Constantly seek to improve and re-engineer team and stakeholder processes to drive efficiency and increased productivity

Experience & Skills

• Degree from 1st class University preferable.
• Minimum 4 years’ ecommerce experience within luxury, premium or high end fashion & lifestyle sector.
• Passionate about ecommerce
• Exceptional communication skills, highly confident and able to deal with internal & external senior stakeholders.
• Highly motivated with experience working in a fast paced, creative environment.
• A confident team player, strong collaborator comfortable working with different teams in UK, South Africa & Europe
• Detail oriented & organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritise strict deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Experience in managing and leading a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Understanding of fulfilment, stock management and customer-service
