Description

The Director of Products will manage the José Andrés and Mercado Little Spain gourmet food lines, as well as all related category licenses. The ideal candidate will combine industry experience with marketing, branding and operational skills to drive growth and increase revenue in this category.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Marketing and Sales

·         Create a strategy, execute and successfully launch an omni-channel, e-commerce platform for the José Andrés Products business in collaboration with our Master Distributor

·         Develop brand strategy and appropriate execution and development of assets, all in collaboration with TFG Senior Director of Brand Marketing

·         Collaborate with TFG marketing team and licensing partners on marketing and promotional strategies to drive brand awareness and sales. Including, but not limited to, promotional calendar, demos, digital ads and retail collaborations

·         Drive success of retail at Mercado Little Spain and TFG restaurants

 

Finance and Reporting

 

·         Create and manage P&L including sales, marketing and operational budgets; track monthly performance in order to meet key revenue goals

·         Develop KPIS for the JA Products Business, utilizing data to inform product offerings and business decisions

 

New Products Development / Sourcing

·         Utilize market research and all available metrics to incorporate new products into existing portfolio collaborating closely with TFG Culinary team and Licensing partners.

·         Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert for new product licensing relationships

·         Lead successful execution of product licensing programs in coordination with Senior Director, Partnerships & Licensing

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

·         5-7 years of experience in CPG and/or licensing

·         Experience should include strategy development and implementation, marketing & branding, and sales forecasting

·         Experience with retail of gourmet food products in the U.S. would be a plus.

·         Language fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred
