Support / Host Tria Cafe Rittenhouse

Description
Tria, Philadelphia's original casual wine bar, is seeking Support/Host team members.

The Support/Host position plays a critical role in Tria’s team-oriented service. Support combines food running, bar backing, and table bussing—this individual makes each shift run smoothly. The host is the first Tria team member our guests encounter. Over the past 15 years, many of our Support/Host staff have become Tria bartenders and servers, and many of our bartenders and servers have advanced to notable positions in the world of wine, cheese, and beer, both at Tria and elsewhere.

Why Tria?

- A product you can be proud of
- Friendly, supportive and professional-yet-fun work environment
- Continuous and intense product education—it’s like getting paid to go to wine school
- Two available quality, not bare-bones, health insurance plans
- Paid vacations
- A retirement plan with matching contributions
- Generous Tria discounts
- The ability to wear your favorite blue jeans to work

Why You?

Successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and qualities:

- Thirst for knowledge and the desire to share it with our guests—with passion, not pretension
- Ingrained sense of genuine hospitality—you love giving a wide variety of guests excellent experiences that make them want to come back.
- Some wine knowledge, but more importantly, the desire to learn more. And more, still.
- Relevant restaurant experience involving the service of fine food and drink
- Availability to work four or more shifts plus attend our mandatory-yet-delicious 90-minute weekly staff training
- Commitment to work at no other restaurants or bars while on the Tria team
- Intent to stay employed at Tria for at least one year unless you win the lottery
