Opportunity Details:
A fantastic opportunity to join the finance team for a vibrant and innovative hospitality business. Vagabond boasts 8 sites in London and with a strong appetite to continue to grow over the coming years this is a great opportunity for someone looking use their initiative and finance knowledge to support this growth. The role to manage the well-established finance function in a hands on manner. Working with a variety of stakeholders across the business to produce accurate financial information to help support operational and growth decisions. |

Position reports to: Finance Director |
Main Duties:
Main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Compiling and issuing month end management information including the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Production of VAT returns
- Act as the first point of contact in the accounts department responding to calls, emails and queries
- Management of the audit process including the production of supporting schedules
- Supporting the Finance Director in the production of budgets, cash flow forecast and project finances
- Support the operations team in ensuring they are getting and understanding the appropriate financial information
- Review of payroll information and submission to third party payroll processing company
- Ah hoc project work
Experience and
Knowledge :
- Qualified or part Qualified accountant
- Experience working in a hospitality environment
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software and proficient use of excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage different stakeholder expectations
- Proven ability to simplify complicated matters, resilient and able to work to deadlines under pressure
- Proactive and self-motivated with an ability to demonstrate attention to detail
