• Be at least 18years of age
• Previous experience in a related role
• Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
• Food Handlers Permit

A Day In The Life

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized Via 313 recipes
• Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
• Safely utilize a variety of utensils including knifes
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established Via 313 guidelines
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adhere to Via 313safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Perform other duties as assigned by upper management
