Cosmetic Engineer

General Duties and Responsibilities
•Execute Standard Operating Procedures developed by Engineering Department.
•Execute Policy and Procedures for engineering practice developed by Engineering Department.
•Execute cosmetic maintenance programs developed by the Engineering Department.
•Participate in fire drills, testing of all Safety systems.
•Participate in departmental meetings, trainings etc.
•Conduct cosmetic maintenance work and provide input for long-term planning to the enhancement of the hotel.

Experience and Requirements

•Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
•A minimum of 2+ years experience in painting, drywall, wallpaper and furniture touch up.
•A minimum of 2+ years in working within an engineering environment.
•Must possess a basic knowledge of Building systems.
•Must possess extensive knowledge of painting, drywall, wallpaper and finishing work.
•Must possess a Luxury hotel or Residential background.
•Must possess some background in working with Fire and Safety systems.
•Must possess some background in working with BMS (Building Management systems).
•Must possess basic knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft DOS, Office etc.
•Strong communication skills with fluency in English required.
•Must be able to physically meet the demands of the job such as walking/standing for extended periods while on shift; lift/carry/push/pull heavy and/or bulky items weighing at times over 50+ lbs.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
