Position Overview
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastry Cook to join our award-winning culinary team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in pastry techniques, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine love for creating exceptional desserts that reflect the Wolfgang Puck standard of excellence.
As a Pastry Cook, you’ll support daily production, assist in menu execution, and ensure consistency, quality, and creativity in every dish that leaves the pastry kitchen.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and plate all pastry and dessert items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in production for restaurant service, special events, and seasonal menu updates.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor product freshness, stock levels, and communicate needs proactively to leadership.
Collaborate with the pastry and culinary teams to uphold quality, timing, and presentation standards.
Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas for menu innovation and seasonal offerings.
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and uphold the hospitality culture of Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group.
Qualifications
3+ years of pastry or baking experience in a professional kitchen
Strong knowledge of pastry fundamentals, including doughs, custards, mousses, and plated desserts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with precision and consistency.
Excellent organization and time-management skills.
Passion for learning, creativity, and commitment to quality.
Culinary or pastry school training is a plus but not required.
