Assistant Manager

Yard Sale Pizza serve award-winning neighbourhood pizza. We’re a young but growing business currently with 8 sites, offering plenty of career progression for hard working individuals.

We're looking for a passionate Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager to join our team. The role is to support the General Manager during peak shifts, and run your own shifts in the GM’s absence, keeping the team motivated and bringing a great energy, all while serving up some of the tastiest pizzas to our London customers. The role is fast-paced (service is dinner times Monday to Thursday only) and our service finishes LATEST 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings - plenty of time to socialise / get the beers in after work!

You’ll be working alongside the General Manager who will offer hands-on training, regular reviews and opportunities to learn all aspects of the business including kitchen training. We’re looking for individuals who want to grow with us as we expand, and we are a fast-growing company so it's a really exciting time to join!

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years Assistant Manager experience, in fast-paced casual dining or similar
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
• A motivated, adaptable & organised, people-person
• Excellent Team leader / motivator and team player
• Experience working with deliveries and dealing with phone orders

Desirable:

• Experience working with takeaway
• Computer literate, ideally using Google Suite (sheets, docs & calendars)
• Level 2 Food Hygiene

The Location: Our 5th store – within touching distance of Shoreditch. As well as our usual casual dine-in and takeaway vibes, we will be serving the local area with our dedicated delivery service, and another exclusive for this site sees us opening a basement bar for a more secluded dining experience, perfect for a date or to rent our the whole area for parties!

About Us: Yard Sale Pizza fired up the oven in 2014, starting with weekly supper clubs from our backyard in Hackney. We now offer delivery, dine-in and takeaway in 8 of our favourite neighbourhoods.
