Description

Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor for our signature poolside restaurant, Viviane, located within our 84-room boutique luxury property in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage, this position requires exceptional guest interaction and leadership skills. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that service runs smoothly as well as assisting to manage a team of Food and Beverage colleagues. This is a hands-on, floor-based role, so a confident and outgoing personality is essential. Our ideal candidate possesses genuine hospitality and care for the guest experience.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and work with a team cooperatively to achieve a designated goal
  • Flexible schedule; willing and able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a leader in a similar restaurant/hospitality/nightlife operation achieving elevated service standards
  • ServSafe and TIPS Required
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
