We are looking for a part-time Gardener to maintain the flower beds, trees and planted areas of the farm park.

Gardener responsibilities include monitoring the health of all plants, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees and shrubs, weeding gardens and helping to keep green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain seasonal plants
• Mulch, edge and weed beds and pots
• Prune and trim trees and bushes
• Monitor and maintain the health of plants
• Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
• Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter
• Assist with the upkeep of our conservation area and wildflower patches

Requirements and skills

• Experience as a Gardener
• Knowledge of regional plant life
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
• Physical ability for a practical role
• A love of the outdoors and plant life
