Location: Lympstone Manor 5* Luxury between Exeter and Exmouth

Salary: £38,000

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Relationships: Management and all hotel departments

We are looking for an experienced and talented Estate Manager to join our team.  The role requires hands on Manager, excellent planning, communication and task monitoring skills with an ability to address both strategic and short-turnaround tasks. 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

●        Actively working with and managing a small team of groundsman

●        Dealing with annual maintenance contracts

●        Coordination and execution of all repair work as well as maintenance and servicing work in the hotel

●        To communicate and share knowledge with other hotel departments, on a regular basis

●        Management of our outdoor Pool complex

 

Who we’re looking for

 

●        Qualified in driving and operating machinery and other relevant estate management experience 

●        Efficient, Driven and highly organised

●        Has attention to detail and with excellent communication skills

●        A qualification in Health and Safety

●       Knowledge of working to budgets is useful but not essential

Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?

-          You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.

 

Do I need the right to work in the UK?

-          In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.

 

How long after my interview will it take to know the outcome?
