Position: Shift Manager

Salary:  £11.00 per hour

Location: Papa Johns Newquay 52 east street

What We Offer Our Shift Leader:

·       Full time or part time permanent contract

·        £11.00 per hour

·       Up to 28 days paid holiday

The Shift Manager Role:

We have fun as a Papa John’s team, and you will be working as a key part of the and also supporting the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve amazing results. You will lead the Store when the Manager is not working. You will need to become the best of the best on every workstation, from taking orders to making the famous pizzas so you lead by example to ensure our customers are wowed every time.

We have high standards and values, so you will need to always be in full uniform and engage politely with all team members and customers. You will ensure everyone in the team maintains our high standards and excellent stock controls. Our teams safety and customer safety is vital, so you will maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times as well as completing checks daily.

Skills we are looking for from our Shift Manager:

·       Experience of leading a small team or running shifts at work

·       Motivated as part of a team and also as an individual

·       Brings energy & positivity to a group

·       Experience of training others in new skills

·       Attention to detail – you like things to be done right

·       Excellent verbal communication – vital to the role

·       A sense of urgency in everything you do

·       Experience of coaching team members in the moment to improve

Qualities we are looking for from our Shift Manager:

·       Friendly & warm personality – service matters

·       A hunger to be involved in everything that makes our store successful

·       A desire to progress and develop a career with Papa John’s

·       Live locally – our employees are happier when the commute is shorter

·       Fluent in spoken & written English

·       Happy to work weekends, evenings and some weekdays

·       Flexibility to work additional shifts
