We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Roseate Hotel Edinburgh. The role involves overseeing the daily housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained. You will manage and train the housekeeping team, inspect rooms and public areas, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. This role offers a salary of £26,000 per year for a 43-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team to maintain hotel cleanliness standards
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and attention to detail
• Manage staff schedules and performance, providing training and guidance
• Oversee inventory control and ensure stock levels meet operational needs
• Support the housekeeping team in cleaning rooms and public areas during busy periods
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
