Role Overview:

As Executive Housekeeper at COMO The Halkin you will manage the overall Housekeeping operation, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, service and guest satisfaction across the hotel. You will be required to develop goals, policies and strategies for the Housekeeping department, ensuring these is implemented through organisation, planning and training.

What you will do: 

  • Supervise and lead the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standard of service in compliance with COMO service standards
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean; bedrooms, public areas, back of house etc., all bedrooms and guest areas are checked by Housekeepers daily, maintaining quality control of guest rooms, public areas and laundry operations
  • Establish and organise necessary trainings, encouraging team development but ensuring COMO standards
  • Manage departmental recruitment, daily briefings and internal communication
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure coordination and seamless guest service
  • Set long term goals and strategies to enhance departmental performance and guest satisfaction

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in Housekeeping management or supervision
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Familiarity with housekeeping systems (e.g Opera, Knowcross)
