We are Gravity, we are the UK’s biggest name in active entertainment. Fun is our key word, where our sites across the UK offer up to 30 activities from e-karting to trampoline parks, high wall climbing to augmented reality bowling. We are now looking for Part Qualified Management Accountant to join our team at our head office in Wakefield.

What you’ll be doing…

You will be commercially minded; you will work closely with your peers providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making. As a direct report of the Financial Controller, you will oversee Pre Payments, Accruals, Debits and Credit.

Your key skills needed to succeed.

• Ideally be part qualified CIMA or AAT
• Experience of working within a larger organisation with large numbers of weekly transactions
•  Payroll processing experience would be great, especially experience of Access.
• Someone who is happy to take on responsibility and stretch your knowledge and learn from your peers.

Qualifications & Training

• At least 2 years commercial experience, with the last 1 working as a Junior Management accountant
• Formal accounting qualifications are necessary for this position.
• Previous experience in working within a Management Accountant environment

• An ability to think outside the box and be able to add real value through the exciting times ahead.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, excellent communicator and a good eye for detail.
• Commercially astute to be able to analyse problems and help with decision making.
• An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate within a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with business sensitive information.

Product Knowledge

• Proficient with core Microsoft software.
• A good working knowledge of Access.
• Experience of Sage payroll.
