COMO The Halkin is a 41 bedroom hotel conceived as a cocooning ‘Home from Home’ on a quiet street in London Belgravia. The classic proportions, arched windows and Georgian brick exteriors matched with elegant interiors create a feel of a private home

Role Overview: As a Food & Beverage Team Member at COMO The Halkin, you will assist supervisors by performing tasks such as taking, preparing and delivering orders, along with maximising sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggested selling. You will play a crucial role in upholding the high standards of service that COMO The Halkin is known for.

What you will do: 

  • Provide an efficient, polite and courteous service to guests over breakfast service, room service and events
  • Ensure all areas are kept correctly with regards to storage and cleanliness at all times
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order, and liaise with other departments for maintenance and repair if necessary
  • Handle deliveries, inspect items and report any discrepancies
  • Handle guest requests, allergies, and dietary needs with professionalism and care
  • Maintain professional body language and grooming standards at all times, adhering to the hotel's policies and guidelines
Who you are: 
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable: Possess an understanding of the Liquor License and all Health & Safety procedures
  • Positive: Approach tasks with a self-driven attitude
  • Team player: Ability to work within a team as well as alone
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written English
