We are seeking an experienced Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our team at COMO Hotels & Resorts with additional responsibility for NOBU Park Lane, Labombe by Trivet & Monarch House. 

This role is responsible for COMO Metropolitan London, COMO The Halkin, Nobu London, Monarch House and will form part of the pre-opening team for Labombe by Trivet, a new restaurant concept created by Co-Founders, Michelin Starred Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal. An exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up into their first senior HR role. 

As Assistant HR Manager you will support the HR Director in delivering a high-quality human resources function within hotels & restaurants. This role exists to help implement HR policies, support employee engagement, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. As Assistant HR Manager you will play a key role in maintaining a positive work environment, supporting recruitment and training efforts, and ensuring compliance with employment standards and brand guidelines.

What you will do: 
  • Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Support in the management of the HR Officers.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the hotel’s values and service standards.
  • Support the HR officers with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Ensure compliance with employement law, health and safety regulations, and brand HR policies.
  • Support with payroll processing 
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including attendance, leave, and payroll data.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the hotel workforce.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for hotel management and corporate HR teams.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
Who you are: 
  • Previous experience in an HR support role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Previous expereince with payroll processing 
  • Ability work adapt to various working styles across the 5 properties. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of HR practices, employment law, and hotel operations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Fourth is benefical. 
  • a CIPD qualification is desirable, however not essential.
