COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.
 

Role Overview: The Senior Sous Chef will work with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing the team, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock rotation. The role requires strong leadership, particularly as you will step into the Head Chef position in their absence.

What you will do:
  • Work with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing the team, assisting with menu prep, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring stock ordering and rotation.
  • Ensure quality and consistency by following designated recipes
  • Leads the kitchen brigade in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Provides guidance to juinor chefs
  • Ensure hygienic and very safe kitchen environment
  • Participate in training and maximise the opportunities for the ongoing development of junior chefs to prepare them for more responsibilities
Who you are:
  • Formal culinary training
  • Previous five-star hotel or fine dining ecperience
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Level 3 Food Safety Qualification
  • Leadership
