Description

COMO Metropolitan London is an inner city property stripping back to the non-essential elements of a traditional hotel. The result is an urban retreat that is cool, accessible and sophisticated. COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.
 

  • What you will do:

    • Working with the Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing the team, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock rotation
    • Supervised  the kitchen brigade on a daily basis
    • Provides guidance to junior Chefs, including, but not limited, to cooking, food preparation, and plating dishes
    • Ensures quality and consistency by following designated recipe
    • Participate in training and maximize the opportunities for the ongoing development of junior chefs to prepare them for more responsibility. 
    Who you are: 

    • Excellent motivator and someone who clearly leads by example 
    • Has a drive to succeed & clear passion for food
    • A successful candidate will enjoy taking responsibility and delivering results
    • You must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills
    • Previous experience of working in a hotel environment is ideal
    • Able to work a variety of different shifts, which will include weekends, early starts and late finishes
