Trivet opened in 2019, founded by our two main owners, Master Sommelier Isa Bal and Michelin Star chef Jonny Lake. The restaurant is a team operation, with Isa and Jonny leading a small but dedicated troupe. We are now embarking on an exciting journey, with a new project based in Mayfair.

As Pastry Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the pastry section and ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and consistency. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will oversee pastry production, assist in menu development, and collaborate closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This is a leadership role that requires both technical pastry expertise and strong organisational skills to manage stock, ordering, and daily operations efficiently.        .

We are looking for:

  •  Formal culinary training with a specialisation in pastry
  • Experience in a five-star hotel or fine dining restaurant
  •  Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including classic and modern methods
  •  Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (both written and spoken English)
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • A creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation in pastry
