COMO Hotels and Resorts are an award-winning, family-owned group of 18 hotels and resorts worldwide; each one different to the other but sharing the same heart: a deep commitment to holistic wellness, exceptional nutrition-rich cuisine, and inspiring destinations that honour the spirit of place.

COMO Metropolitan London is an inner city property stripping back to the non-essential elements of a traditional hotel. The result is an urban retreat that is cool, accessible and sophisticated. COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.

Role Overview: The Cluster Marketing & Communications Manager will be the Marketing & Communications lead across both properties, responsible for all marketing and communication channels  for guest relations, sales, promotions and PR co-ordination. The role will focus on building B2B and B2C awareness to drive revenue to the properties, working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing and all departments.

What you will do: 
  • Create and execute the marketing and PR calendar working closely with the marketing team in Singapore.  Ensure timely execution across all touch points of the marketing messaging and keep spending in line with budgets
  • Monitor and track marketing expenses
  • Create and develop strategic partnerships to assist in building local business and brand awareness
  • Plan and manage all photography requirements, relating to the Hotels and Residences, keeping spending in line with budget
  • Event management of all promotional events at the properties
  • Be the property lead for London, taking responsibility for the sales team to ensure that within each of the feeder markets effective B2B communications are in place
  • Work directly with your social and digital counterparts in London and Singapore to ensure that all campaigns and messaging is aligned and across all social and digital channels. Ensure proactive engagement with online communities
  • To develop a relationship with COMO’s creative team for frequent in-house communications for the properties
  • Managing press requests and communication with the operational departments as necessary
  • Attend and play an active role in the Sales, Marketing & Communications meeting as scheduled for London properties
  • Effectively manage one executive and one cooridinator in line with COMO values
Who you are:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a luxury hotel marketing role
  • Fluency in English oral and written
  • Experience with marketing desination restaurants in London
  • Experience organising brand/partnership local events on-property 
  • Has a wide network in the media, lifestyle, luxury industries in the UK
  • Has good commercial acumen 
  • Proven track record of organisation, planning and time management
