COMO Metropolitan London is an inner city property stripping back to the non-essential elements of a traditional hotel. The result is an urban retreat that is cool, accessible and sophisticated. COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.

Role Overview: 
 Drive Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) revenue by securing new business, managing key accounts, and maximising event sales performance for the hotel. This role is responsible for achieving annual Group and Event revenue targets while leading and developing a team of two.  

What you will do: 
  • Prospect, identify, and secure new MICE business across corporate, agency, and association segments
  • Manage an active sales pipeline, conduct sales calls, attend industry events, and build strong client relationships
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and convert leads into confirmed business
  • Collaborate with Operations, Events, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth event delivery and maximise revenue
  • Conduct site inspections and deliver presentations to prospective clients
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, reports, and CRM data
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for meetings and event revenue
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and sales missions
  • Complete expense reports accurately and in line with budget guidelines
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of competitor hotels and market trends
  • Lead, support and develop a team of two responsible for sales and planning
Who you are:
  • Minimum three years’ experience in hospitality sales within the luxury segment
  • Proven background in hotel MICE or event sales, ideally within the London market
  • Strong understanding of corporate, agency, and event segments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and CRM systems
