COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.

Position Summary

The Sales Executive – Middle East Market plays a pivotal role in supporting the commercial success of COMO Hotels and Resorts across the GCC and wider Middle East. The role combines proactive business development with the day-to-day management of enquiries, London based accounts support and relationships in one of the hotel's fastest-paced and most commercially significant source markets. Working closely with the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will ensure a seamless customer journey from initial enquiry through to post-stay follow-up while actively identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen strategic partnerships and enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of local Middle East accounts through proactive sales activities.

• Generate new business opportunities while maximising existing account production.

• Conduct regular managed client’s meetings, presentations and networking events.

• Negotiate preferred agreements and commercial partnerships.

• Prepare quotations, contracts and account development plans.

• Represent COMO Hotel and Resorts at local trade shows and FAM trips

• Coordinate familiarisation trips and VIP site inspections.

• Analyse production, booking pace and market trends, recommending revenue opportunities.

• Work closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing and Operations to maximise conversion and guest satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and monthly activity reports.

• Manage day-to-day enquiries from travel partners, corporate clients and direct guests from the Middle East, ensuring prompt, accurate and personalised responses in line with COMO's luxury service standards.

• Act as the first point of contact for key Middle Eastern accounts when the Director of Sales is travelling or attending client meetings.

• Prepare bespoke quotations, proposals and availability options in collaboration with Reservations and Revenue Management.

• Monitor outstanding enquiries daily and proactively follow up to maximise conversion.

• Coordinate VIP requests, room upgrades, amenities and special arrangements with operational departments.

• Support the management of high-profile family office, diplomatic and VIP reservations.

• Assist with last-minute bookings, amendments and cancellations in a fast-paced environment.

• Liaise daily with Reservations, Front Office, Guest Relations and Finance regarding bookings, deposits, billing instructions and special requests.

Key Performance Indicators

• Achievement of room revenue, ADR and room-night targets.

• New account acquisition and existing account growth.

• Sales calls, client meetings and proposal conversion.

• Quality of forecasting, reporting and CRM compliance.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum two years' experience in luxury hotel sales or business development.

• Knowledge of GCC and Middle East travel markets.

• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Experience with Opera Cloud, CRM and Microsoft Office.

Travel and Working Hours

The successful candidate will be expected to accommodate GCC business hours when required, including occasional evening and weekend work to support client needs, market-specific events and peak trading periods. Working patterns may vary seasonally to align with the operational requirements of the region.
