Cabana is the home of the mighty flame-grilled Spicy Malagueta Chicken! Our restaurants are Latin American inspired known for fabulous grills and cocktails delivered in a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere!

We are ideally looking for an Assistant Manager who:

·       Deliver our core focus; To lift people’s spirits & create memorable experiences

·       Assist the restaurant manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth service flow.

·       Supervise and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment

·       Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring guests are seated promptly, orders are taken accurately, and service is efficient

·       Assist in scheduling staff effectively to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs

·       Lead by example to maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and food quality

·       Support with stock management, ordering, stock count, wastage, stock holding and cost control to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards.

·       Provide training and ongoing coaching to staff members to ensure delivery of high-quality service and adherence to standards

·       Monitor restaurant atmosphere and guest satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and courteously. Handle customer complaints in a satisfactory manner

·       Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, promotions, and service updates.

·       Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently

·       Complete opening and closing duties, including setup and close down of the restaurant

·       Outgoing, dedicated to their role and keen to build and grow an enthusiastic and hardworking team

·       Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations at all times

·       Are available full time and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays

·       Have a good personality and a positive and enthusiastic attitude 

·       Is consistent and reliable and an excellent team player
