Are you a seasoned housekeeping professional with a passion for impeccable cleanliness and exceptional guest service? As a Housekeeping Supervisor, we're searching for individuals with leadership qualities, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach. Your role involves overseeing our housekeeping team, ensuring a seamless and pristine guest experience. We value organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to motivate and guide a team towards excellence. This is a fixed-term contract position working 30 hours per week, covering maternity leave.  

Day in the life of:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will work as part of the housekeeping team to make sure we provide clean and fresh rooms to all our guests. They will be able to do this by being fanatical about delivering high standards when cleaning, providing spotless rooms and public areas. You’ll be making beds and cleaning bathrooms, reporting any damage whilst keeping yourself, the team, and our customers safe. You will ensure that high standards are maintained across the team by carrying out room inspections. You will also need to respond to guest requests.

Example Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities of all housekeeping staff to ensure clean, attractive and well-maintained guest rooms, corridors and service areas according to the standards required by the Hotel
  • Monitor and check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas.
  • Responsibility for stock take completion and stock orders in the most organised and efficient ways.
  • Liaise promptly with office co-ordinator and reception regarding any room discrepancies and rooms ready for re-letting
  • Provide handover reports
  • Participate in and carry out various housekeeping inventories
  • Perform any related duties and special projects, which may be assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
  • Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the motivation of our team, you’ll work with them, fully involved in their coaching, training and development.
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us five stars in every way
