What we're looking for:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Lead to join our team. In this full-time role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the property, assets, team, and overall hotel maintenance, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment for both our team members and guests across two sites within the leaf HOSPITALITY portfolio. This role will cover both Stanley House Hotel and Spa and Hampton by Hilton Blackburn.
As a key part of the business, reporting directly to the Cluster Property Manager and collaborating with the relevant General Manager's, you will take ownership of maintaining high standards, driving performance, and supporting your team to meet operational goals.
A Day in the Life:
This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance, drawing on a broad knowledge of general maintenance procedures. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring the hotel's infrastructure operates seamlessly, ensuring a top-tier experience for both staff and guests.
You will have full oversight of all general maintenance tasks across the hotel's, ensuring each activity is carried out to the highest standards. You will support the Cluster Property Manager with managing the team’s performance, compliance, and task completion, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll work closely with the hotel management team, but this role also requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently when needed. You will regularly use key software such as Compliance Centre to log, track, and prioritise the department's tasks and workload.
