The Cashier is responsible for one of the most important tasks in the restaurant concept — processing guest orders efficiently while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude. Duties also include supporting restaurant cleanliness, teamwork, and following all safety and security procedures Harri+1.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Processing: Greet guests, record orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions with a positive attitude Harri.
Cash Handling: Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, accept payments (cash, credit, check), provide receipts, and balance registers Workstream.
Customer Service: Interact with guests professionally, resolve complaints calmly, and upsell when appropriate Workstream.
Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to prepare menu items, follow cooking instructions, and maintain sanitary standards Harri.
Cleanliness: Clear tables, sweep/mop floors, wash/sanitize kitchen utensils and high-touch areas, and maintain restrooms Harri.
Cost Control: Follow guidelines to minimize waste and efficiently use products, supplies, and equipment Harri.
Education: Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred
Age: At least 16 years old
Availability: Early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift 50–75 lbs
Skills: Fast-paced work experience, money handling, fluency in English, advanced cash register skills, strong communication, and a positive attitude
