Group Sales & Events Manager - The North

Description

D&D London is a group of diverse restaurants, bars and hotels based principally in London, but also with venues in Paris and New York. It was founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the eponymous D and D) in 2006, following a buyout of Conran Restaurants. Since then the company has become a vital player in London’s famous restaurant scene, owning some of the capital’s most celebrated restaurants, including Quaglino’s, Le Pont de la Tour, Bluebird and Coq d’Argent. 20 Stories has become an integral part of the city of Manchester's restaurant scene. Locally known as 'The restaurant in the sky', it has become well known for not only its jaw- dropping 360-degree views but its fantastic menus, beautiful design and for one of the liveliest bars in town. The menu represents its location by showcasing the best of the Northwest, with an aim to source ingredients no more than 50 miles from outside Manchester.

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Events Manager to join the team to maximize sales & events opportunities within our sites in the North, whilst developing relationships with our current customer base. You will contribute to the delivery of the D&D London sales strategy and must have excellent communication and rapport-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of maximizing all revenue opportunities for events which include up selling as appropriate
• Ensure all inquiries are handled in accordance with agreed standards to maximize conversion
• Work to agreed targets and objectives for inquiries, bookings, and conversion
• Use suggestive selling to influence the average spends
• Source, research and proactively contact new business prospects through the most appropriate channel
• Build long-term relationships with clients to secure repeat business
• Develop and maintain the agent, corporate, DMC and event organizer database
• Solicit feedback from clients by following up each event to enhance the customer experience
• Implement and maintain high standards for all customers
• General administration support as required
• Attend and work on events at the restaurants and venues as requested

D&D London is a collection of restaurants as individual as you are. Some of the benefits of working for us include:

• Substantial career progression
• Personal development and training
• 28 days holiday that increases with length of service
• Free meals on duty
